1. The Tom And Jerry Show
You won't literally find someone who hasn't watched this cartoon. If you haven't seen it, you didn't have a childhood at all! It's a timeless show loved by all generations. The story of Tom, the cat and Jerry the mouse taught us a lot about life. They were enemies, yet they teamed up at times of atrocities.
2. Dexter's Laboratory
This was a favourite of the 90s kids. The story of a genius kid named Dexter with a secret underground laboratory and his annoying sister was really loved by millions. He loved playing with chemicals and his attempts to make something cool always meant lots of fun.
3. The Powerpuff Girls
Those three cute girls trying to save the world, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup were among the favourite heroes of every 90s kid. They were created by professor Utonium with sugar, spice and everything nice plus chemical X. These 3 girls who kept the city safe from monsters and evil had millions of kids as fans.
4. The Scooby Doo Show
A real classic cartoon that will be remembered forever. Scooby-Doo and his cool team of mystery solvers lived in a small town called Crystal Cove which is said to be the most haunted place on earth.
It was a thrilling one that kept us all engrossed till the end and we could never miss a single day's show.
5. Johny Bravo
Certainly one of the funniest cartoons that was ever made. The guy with a queer looking body and Elvis like voice who flirted all the time with woman only to get rejected. He was always proud of his own 'manliness'. Johny Bravo taught us what not to be when it comes to hitting on a girl.
6. The Mask
It always meant a good laugh breakout when Joe Stanley, an average guy put that cursed mask on, The Mask made the life of 90s kids filled with fun and laughter. The animated series was based on the movie with same name but slightly modified for the kids. Again, one of the 90s kids' favourite cartoon shows.
7. The Looney Tunes Show
Looney Tunes by Warner Bros. is one of the oldest cartoon series of Cartoon Network. It had so many funny characters like Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny. Bugs Bunny was my favourite character although every character was cool in it's own way.
8. Popeye
If it wasn't for Popeye ,we wouldn't have loved spinach so much. Popeye consumed spinach to turn himself into a powerful man. The cartoon featured his girlfriend Olive Oyl and the villain Bruno. A funny cartoon with a great hidden message - include more green in your diet and go green to be strong. Its title song 'I am Popeye, the sailor man' is unforgettable and we loved singing along with it every time!
9. Chip And Dale
This cartoon was inspirational and thrilling, the adventures of the Rescue Rangers made our childhood really awesome. I loved how they made aircraft and other cool stuff from common things found at home and even tried to make my own. Chip and dale was one of it's kind.
10. Richie Rich
It's the story of a damn rich kid who is smart, intelligent and good-at-heart. He has an adventurous childhood while trying to keep his money safe from the bad people. His dog, Dollar and friend, Gloria helps him in this adventure. It's a show that we really loved as kids.
11. The Flintstones
Who would expect the story of a bunch of stone age chaps to be so entertaining and funny. Well, it was and that's why we still love Flintstones. They wore animal skins but had fashion. They used stone made cars and trucks for transport. You simply can't forget the Fred and Wilma flintstones!
12. DuckTales
How can we forget the rich yet greedy uncle Scrooge McDuck and his adorable nephews? Those ducklings were really cute and naughty. The bad guys were always in search of new ways to loot uncle scrooge, but his smart nephews were there to save him. Ducktales was one of the best cartoons ever aired.
Growing up watching these epic cartoons has surely had a positive impact on our character formation and not to mention, they made our childhood awesome. It's a fact that childhood doesn't last forever, but when we miss our childhood, it's also because of these cartoons that made our childhood complete.
